Our client is a multidisciplinary law and consulting firm with operations in Belgium, Luxembourg, and Portugal. What sets them apart is the way they combine legal expertise with practical consulting capabilities — supporting businesses that navigate increasingly complex environments.  

With a growing international presence, the firm felt that their website no longer reflected the clarity, professionalism, and accessibility they deliver to clients every day.  

They needed a digital identity that could carry their message further — across borders, across profiles, and across disciplines. 

Challenges

Their existing site lacked cohesion and no longer reflected the firm’s expanded scope. Internally, teams were finding it increasingly difficult to update content, which limited their reactivity. Externally, the firm’s multidisciplinary expertise and growing presence in multiple countries were not coming through clearly. The brand’s visual identity felt dated, the user experience was fragmented, and each country office had different expectations for how their teams and services should be represented online. 

The firm needed a unified platform that could do several things at once: 

  • Reflect a more modern, trustworthy, and consistent brand identity 
  • Offer a clear view of the firm’s dual positioning: law and consulting 
  • Showcase individual profiles and country-level presence without confusion 
  • Allow local teams to manage and update content with ease, without technical support 

Our Approach

To meet these goals, we set up a dedicated project team that included two project managers to coordinate across regions, one UX/UI designer to shape the user experience, and two developers to build a robust yet flexible platform. From the outset, we adopted a collaborative approach designed to capture the nuances of our client’s brand while bringing structure to a complex, multi-stakeholder environment. 

We began with a co-creation workshop, bringing together key stakeholders from Belgium, Luxembourg, and Portugal. This session was essential to define priorities, align expectations, and identify what needed to be consistent across the site — and where each region could bring its own emphasis. These early conversations helped us build a shared foundation, grounded in both user needs and business goals. 

We then moved into the design phase, creating wireframes that mapped intuitive navigation paths for both visitors and internal users. The full UI design followed, reflecting their professional tone and forward-looking brand identity. Visual choices were carefully made to feel both accessible and authoritative. 

On the development side, we built a fully custom WordPress site, structured to support multiple types of profiles and regional content. One of the core priorities was autonomy: the CMS interface was tailored to enable lawyers and consultants to easily update bios, services, and articles — without needing to call in technical help. This included setting up clear content zones, guided editing paths, and forms for lead capture that connected visitors directly with the right people. 

Throughout the project, our teams in Belgium worked closely with the international firm to ensure a smooth rhythm of validation and iteration. Weekly checkpoints, shared dashboards, and multilingual coordination helped us maintain transparency and keep the project moving forward, despite its geographic and functional complexity.

The new client website delivers on all fronts: clarity, autonomy, and credibility. It brings their brand into the present while setting a solid foundation for future growth. 

From the first click, visitors now encounter a clean, user-friendly interface that communicates trust and professionalism. The firm’s dual identity — both legal and consulting — is clearly presented, with smart navigation paths that guide users to the information they need. Each country team has a visible and coherent space, helping reinforce their international scope without overwhelming the visitor. 

For internal teams, the difference is just as noticeable. What used to be a bottleneck is now a streamlined process: the content management interface is intuitive enough for non-technical staff to publish updates confidently and regularly. This has already resulted in a more active, up-to-date website — helping the firm stay relevant and responsive to its audience.
