Our Carbon Footprint and SBTi Targets

In our quest for sustainability, understanding and reducing our carbon footprint is paramount. CBTW's rigorous approach to carbon accounting and commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) underlines our resolve to combat climate change proactively.

Overall Net-Zero Target

CBTW commits to achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain by 2050.

Near-Term Targets

Reduce absolute scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 50% by 2030 (based on a 2022 baseline).
Reduce scope 3 GHG emissions related to business travel, employee commuting, fuel, energy, and capital goods by 25% within the same timeframe.
Ensure that 50% of our suppliers (by spend) have science-based targets by 2027.

Long-Term Targets

Reduce absolute scope 1, 2, and 3 GHG emissions by 90% by 2050 (based on a 2022 baseline).
